With the passage by our paranoid government of the Section 702 FISA bill, with no-warrant provisions attached, you can bet Uncle Sam and his bureaucratic cronies are watching you from a distance. This is problematic, especially if you have multiple “electronic connections” attached to you, like a smartwatch, smartphone, smartTV, smart refrigerator, smart car, smart … (oh shit, name something!) …
We live in an age where We the People don’t matter to our government anymore. We are like a boon to Congress, who thinks just because We the People elected them to their positions (actually, about 15% of the voting rank and file elected these people because they have an agenda they want congressional help with), they can pretty much do whatever they want, without consequence.
Sadly, we have grown so accustomed to convenience that it’s hard to “let go”. The thing is … having an “I haven’t done anything wrong” attitude doesn’t mean your 4th Amendment right to be secure in your “persons and papers” isn’t being regularly violated.
